Survivor (College Edition): Homework vs. Studying                                                        

“Is homework really that important?”  I turn in most (well, some) of the homework and I think I’m studying, but I’m not getting good grades. Is there too much to do? You have no clue how to do it?! Why is it even important to have homework in college? Learn to study effectively before your grade takes a nose dive.

“Does your instructor talk too fast or is your hand cramping from writing too much? Are you not sure what to write?” Discover the secrets to successful note-taking. Come learn how to become a more effective and engaged note-taker and increase your overall study skills.

Testing, Testing, 1.2.3: Developing Test Taking Strategies and Dealing With Test Anxiety

“We have a test tomorrow! How am I going to pass?” Discover some test taking strategies that will help to calm your nerves and focus on the exam. In this workshop we’ll look at the different types of exams and some helpful ways to relieve test anxiety.
