Test-taking Strategies and Reducing Test Anxiety

“We have a test tomorrow! How am I going to pass?” Discover some test taking strategies that will help you to calm your nerves and to focus on the exam. This workshop focuses on different types of exams and some helpful ways to relieve test anxiety.

Do you want to get more out of what you read? If so, this workshop offers methods to help you read more efficiently, whether you are skimming for quick information or reading for deep meaning.

Do you struggle to get started on assignments? From prioritizing your to-do list to keeping your eye on the prize, discover ways to maintain your interest in the smaller tasks that ultimately lead to greater rewards.

Critical Literacy

Have you ever had to watch a video, read some articles, and listen to a lecture all on the same subject only to realize you still cannot wrap your brain around the subject? Learn how to become actively involved with a subject or idea, finding ways to apply it to yourself or others and using it to create new ideas.

 

De-Stress Using Good Time Management

Are you regularly stressed and on the struggle bus? Learn ways to combat the stressors in your life by becoming a more efficient and effective time manager.
